After
36 years flying for a major airline on their international
routes and sailing at every opportunity, I retired in 1999
to go cruising. My wife and I lived aboard and cruised for
a while on our Hunter 450 before coming ashore to care for
elderly parents.
My first intro to sailing came in 1962 on
a Friendship sloop on the Chesapeake while stationed at Langley
AFB, Va. It was love at first sail. I have owned several sailboats
from a Dolphin 18 to a Hunter Passage 450 and several in
between. One of our favorites was a beautiful Precision 27,
sailing on Lake Perry, Kansas and then on the Pamlico Sound,
NC. My experience also extends to Motor Yachts up to 50' and beyond both inshore and offshore. No matter how you do it the goal is to be on the water.
As a broker
my experience has been that when serving a customer I am most
happy when I find a perfect match between boat and the client.
I have found this makes the perfect marriage and the experience
of boating fit the "dream". I look forward to every contact with a client.
